Thank you for taking the time to write about kindness. There is a large community now dedicated to making kindness an integral part of our lives - check http://www.helpothers.org

Techforpeace is a great idea. We need more initiatives like this.

Acts of kindness--a gesture, a hand, a smile, a genuine hug are all part of the need to restore balance, restore our humanity, and our connectedness to each other. For generations, Indigenous Peoples throughout all hemispheres, have gathered together and have had to be inventive and innovative to survive, to remember sacred songs, to call on the wind to bring gray clouds of snow and rain to replenish our most basic need. True, "intention" may be sincere, however, historically, horrendous acts of genocide have been committed with good intentions. Precious life heartbeat time is spent daily on on intentional and random, careful and careless acts--oh, to have greater awareness and sensitivity, and yet, to be tenacious and resilient, to carry on each day with a sense of awe and appreciation; to know that yes, we are spending our time and manifesting ourself; to trust we are living our destiny and fulfilling ourselves with lots of love and rejuvenating energy-to be of a great heart and mind, to deal with our internal monsters like the wired racism and arrogance that is ever prevalent; to be humble... Ah yes, to share our good energy, to transmit beauty from within; to figure out problems; move trees, barriers, obstacles; to have inner strength and good judgment. Ah yes, to dance for peace, to sing; walk, run, write--that we experience peace within and that we too, are the sky, the air, the fire, earth, all matter.... movement, positive energy, and peace to all...
